Meet Mike

Michael “Mike” Pytlar is an automotive concierge, race car driver, and instructor who has spent the last 15 years building relationships across the automotive world. His background includes Gotham Dream Cars, founding Cloud 9 Exotics, and sales and shop management at Ryan Friedman Motorcars. He founded Pytstop Motorcars in 2017 and now also runs a vintage exotic car shop in Long Island City.

The idea behind Pytstop is simple: be the person you call when something car-related comes up. A rare find, a repair, a shoot, a big idea—let’s figure it out.

A little more detail

Your automotive concierge in New York

Pytstop Motorcars was founded in 2017 by Michael “Mike” Pytlar. The business brings together the different parts of automotive ownership and project work: finding a collectible, selling a car, arranging service, sourcing vehicles for a production, planning an event or coordinating a move.

Mike’s background includes Gotham Dream Cars, founding Cloud 9 Exotics, and sales and shop management at Ryan Friedman Motorcars. He now also runs a vintage exotic car shop in Long Island City. As a race car driver and instructor, his connection to cars extends from the workshop and the showroom to the circuit.

The strongest local relationships are on Long Island and in Queens and Brooklyn. That New York foundation connects with national car searches and domestic and international shipping. The approach stays personal: understand the car, the person and the goal, then bring the right people together.
